About the service
Final Whistle Card Collection is an unofficial fan-made tool for recording a trading-card collection. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, club, card manufacturer or card retailer. Names and checklist information may identify third-party products for reference; all relevant rights remain with their respective owners.
Website access and one-time payment
A one-time payment of £1 gives the registered account lifetime access to the website's collection features. It is a single payment, not a subscription, and it will not renew. Lifetime access means access for as long as Final Whistle Card Collection remains in operation; it is not a promise that the service will operate forever. Access remains subject to these terms, age and parental controls, account security, and reasonable service availability.
After a successful payment, we send a payment confirmation and invoice to the email address associated with your account. For the AI scanner subscription, we send an invoice and payment confirmation for each successful payment.
Accounts and collection data
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and use only accounts you are authorised to access. Do not attempt to access another person's private collection, bypass security controls, overload the scanner or misuse the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries you confirm.
Age rules and parental controls
Users under 13 cannot register. Users aged 13–16 need a parent to confirm their account through a separate adult account. Manual card entry, AI scanner access and subscription access are off by default for these users. Parents can approve or reject feature requests, change permissions and delete a linked child account. Users aged 17 and over are not subject to these parental feature restrictions. These account controls do not remove any consumer rights or legal requirements that apply to subscriptions.
Optional AI scanner
The AI card scanner is optional and separate from the one-time website access payment. It costs £3 per month, including applicable taxes if shown at checkout, and requires a separate subscription. Website access does not require an AI scanner subscription. AI output can be wrong; review and edit extracted information before confirming it. Scanner availability and reasonable daily limits may apply.
Subscription, renewal and cancellation
The AI scanner subscription costs £3 per month. It renews automatically each month until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. Before you confirm payment, review the price, recurring-payment terms and any other information shown in the checkout.
You can manage or cancel your subscription using the subscription-management link in Final Whistle, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. Follow the cancellation steps and check for the confirmation shown there; keep any confirmation email. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal. Your paid AI scanner access is expected to continue until the end of the current paid billing period, unless access is restricted for a separate safety, security or legal reason. We do not normally refund unused time in a billing period simply because you cancel, but this does not limit any refund or cancellation right provided by law.
If the customer portal is unavailable or you cannot complete the cancellation, email lennonarthurclarke09@outlook.com and clearly state that you want to cancel. Include the account email address, but never send your password or full payment-card details. We will use the message as a cancellation request and respond as soon as reasonably possible. Keep a copy of your request.
If a payment fails or a subscription expires, AI scanning may be suspended, while free manual collection features remain available subject to account and parental controls. Deleting an account or a parent withdrawing a child’s subscription permission may trigger cancellation of a linked subscription; do not rely on account deletion alone as a substitute for checking the subscription status.
Refunds and cancellation rights
If you believe you have been charged accidentally, charged twice, or charged incorrectly for either the one-time website access payment or the AI scanner subscription, contact lennonarthurclarke09@outlook.com with the account email, date and amount of the charge. We will investigate and refund duplicate or incorrect charges where appropriate. You can also contact us about an accidental purchase and we will consider the circumstances. Where a refund is due, we will arrange it without undue delay and within any deadline required by law, normally using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise or legally required.
These voluntary refund arrangements do not limit your statutory rights. Depending on the contract and circumstances, UK law may provide a 14-day right to cancel an online contract. The checkout asks you separately to request that the AI scanner service starts when its subscription begins and acknowledges that, if you cancel within an applicable cooling-off period, a proportionate amount for service supplied may be payable where the law permits. That request relates to the scanner subscription; it does not remove any cancellation or refund rights that apply to the one-time website access payment. The precise effect of the cooling-off rules depends on the service and circumstances; we will not treat a statutory right as waived unless the legal requirements for doing so have actually been met.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to services not provided with reasonable care and skill or digital content that does not meet applicable legal requirements.
Customer support and complaints
For help with an account, card collection, AI scanner, subscription, cancellation, payment or refund, email lennonarthurclarke09@outlook.com. Please describe the problem and include the account email address. For billing issues, include the payment date and amount; do not send full payment-card details or passwords.
We aim to acknowledge written support requests within five working days. We will review the information, may ask for details needed to investigate, and aim to provide updates where a resolution takes longer. We will explain our decision and any next steps in writing. These are service aims, not a restriction on any legal deadline or consumer right.
If your complaint concerns a charge, you may ask us to review it as a refund request. We will consider the facts, explain our decision and, where a refund is due, arrange it without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law. A complaint does not remove any statutory rights.
If we cannot resolve a consumer issue, you can seek independent advice from GOV.UK's consumer rights guidance, which explains how to contact Citizens Advice in England and Wales.
Acceptable use and availability
We may limit or suspend access to protect the service, users or infrastructure, or where these terms are breached. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Keep your own records of important collection information.
Liability
These terms do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Any other limitation of liability must be reviewed for compliance with applicable consumer law before launch.
